Funny Signs: Onli in Pinas

Filipinos are know worldwide for their love to smile, laugh, create humor and funny stories. It is evident in some signs created to mimic, spoof or imitate in the sense that it creates a different perspective, understanding and a unique point whether it is made out to create curiosity, to ride on with the publicity, to induce funny situation or because of the lack of knowledge on the truth and reality.

Fun Philippines: Traditional Rice Dryer 'Amakan'

"Amakan" in 'Kinaray-a' (in Antique) is made of finely weave bamboo. Weavers usually make 4 by 8 feet in length depending on the desired measurement. 

'Amakan' is used as a traditional rice drier and other farm products by small farmers in the Philippines especially in rural areas or in mountainous part of the country.

Upon harvest they are drying rice into this traditional

Fun Philippines: Childhood Fun 'River Swimming'

Childhood memories. In a barrio with no electricity, no cellphones, TV, computer, internet or any presence of modern technology, there is no other way of spending idle moments of childhood but to play with playmates. Weekends are spent not with 'dota' session in computer shops like today but in any adventurous activities such as swimming in a free flowing river.

The crystal clear water of Philippine Rivers is cleansing not only the dirt of skin but sooths the inner parts of the human bodies because of its cool effects even in a hot midnoon sun.
