Obvious political ads on TV?!!! Months from now, National and Local Elections in the Philippines is set on May 13, 2013 that's Monday. A nationwide activity that will again shake and shape the future of the country. The Commission on Election (COMELEC) executed Resolution 9385 which was promulgated April 3, 2012 to guide the citizens and the politicians on the commission's Calendar of Activities for the 2013 Elections.

Promulgation: 03 April 2012
Pursuant to the powers vested in it by the Constitution of
the Republic of the Philippines, the Omnibus Election
Code (B.P. Blg. 881), Republic Acts No. 6646, 7166, 8189, 8436, 9189, 9369,
and other election laws, the Commission on Elections RESOLVED, as
it hereby RESOLVES, to prescribe the following calendar of
activities and periods of certain prohibited acts in connection with the May

This Resolution shall take effect on the seventh (7th) day after its publication in two (2) daily newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines.
The Education and Information Department, this Commission, shall cause the publication of this Resolution and shall furnish copies thereof to all Regional Election Directors, Provincial Election Supervisors, Election Officers, and all Departments, Bureaus, Offices and Agencies concerned, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies maintaining offices abroad.
