It is evident in some signs created to mimic, spoof or imitate in the sense that it creates a different perspective, understanding and a unique point whether it is made out to create curiosity, to ride on with the publicity, to induce funny situation or because of the lack of knowledge on the truth and reality.

Dinagat Islands Festival 2013: "BUGKOSAN SA ISLA"

This is the third time that Dinagat Islands in northeastern part of Mindanao, the 80th province in the Philippines celebrates its vast cultural resources through the "BUGKOSAN SA ISLA" Festival 2013.

"Bugkosan" originated from the word "pagbugkos" means to bind, "paghiusa" to unite, "paghugpong" to merge, "pagbug-os" to incorporate and "pagtibu" to convene. It depicts unity and cooperation among all Dinagatnons and promotes the province tourism potentialities.

5 Contingents from different schools in the province participated in this year's festival.

Captured in Bunawan Creek in September 3, 2011, after almost 2 years, the crocodile died, February 10, 2013 after three weeks of ailing since swallowing a nylon cord which triggered chronic diarrhea. The reptile’s stomach started swelling that leads to death, this was according to Rowena Elorde, special spokesperson for the Bunawan local government.

Super Typhoon Pablo: Its Devastating Effects

December 3, 2012 at more or less 6:00 in the morning, Philippine Time when Super Typhoon Pablo with international name, 'Bopha' and with maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 220 kph hit some areas in Mindanao particularly in Banganga, Davao Oriental as well as Monkayo, Compostela, and New Bataan  in Compostela Valley Province. Merry Christmas! A common greetings of everybody this Yuletide Season. This is how everybody expresses their happiness in line with the nativity of our Dear Lord Jesus Christ through a heartfelt greetings to their family and loved ones. In the Philippines, Filipinos commonly say, "Maligayang Pasko!" in Tagalog but since this country is compose of many local dialects, each of the province has each own way of saying, "Merry Christmas".

Fun Philippines: Traditional Rice Dryer 'Amakan'

"Amakan" in 'Kinaray-a' (in Antique) is made of finely weave bamboo. Weavers usually make 4 by 8 feet in length depending on the desired measurement. 

'Amakan' is used as a traditional rice drier and other farm products by small farmers in the Philippines especially in rural areas or in mountainous part of the country.
