Doomsday 2012: Are you prepared?

Yes. You read it right. Doomsday on December 21, 2012 is predicted. Doomsday refers to the end times, the day of the last judgement or of any final judgement. It is written in the bible on the Books of Revelations in which it foretells of an end time marked by a riotous series of events and a cataclysmic conflict between the forces of good and evil. For over centuries, the Book of Revelation has been the subject of much interpretation and debate.

Because it is predicted that the exact date of the doomsday will be on December 21 of this year, few days from now, our end times will come or may not. If we are stunned by the 7.9 magnitude Earthquake that happened in the past few days, what will be the possible scenario when that predicted day comes? Another question is, are you prepared for it, physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually?

But whether we like it or not, whether that doomsday day will come or not, I am sure we could not avoid the devastating effects of Global Warming and Climate Change as we reach the Earth's climate tipping point where concentration of Carbon Dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere will exceed on its 400 ppm (parts per million) average that as of August 2012 it is already in 392.41ppm according to the data released by Mauna Loa Observatory.

So, expect abnormal weather condition, changes in weather patterns and climate and of course devastating calamities in the next .......

Meanwhile, National Geographic Channel is featuring episodes of preparations being done as of now of the Americans on the predicted doomsday. The show, "Doomsday Preppers" explores the lives of otherwise ordinary Americans who are preparing for the end of the world. Unique in their beliefs, motivations, and strategies, preppers will go to whatever lengths they can to make sure they are prepared for any of life’s uncertainties. With expert’s assessment, they will find out their chances of survival if their worst fears become a reality.
