Philippine Standard Time



The Philippine Standard Time Act of 2013 or RA 10535 was officially implemented, December 20, 15 days after the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) were published.

Sync your watches now. The official time of our country is now regulated or held by the PAGASA Time Service Unit. According to the new law, government agencies, as well as the private sector, are now required to display the Philippine Standard Time (PhST) sourced

Dinagat Islands Festival 2013: "BUGKOSAN SA ISLA"

This is the third time that Dinagat Islands in northeastern part of Mindanao, the 80th province in the Philippines celebrates its vast cultural resources through the "BUGKOSAN SA ISLA" Festival 2013.

"Bugkosan" originated from the word "pagbugkos" means to bind, "paghiusa" to unite, "paghugpong" to merge, "pagbug-os" to incorporate and "pagtibu" to convene. It depicts unity and cooperation among all Dinagatnons and promotes the province tourism potentialities.

5 Contingents from different schools in the province participated in this year's festival.
